Book Recommendations I recommend to ANY reader

Creatures Under The Sea

In celebration of Mer May, I wanted to put together a post in honor of that but it’s also summertime, and nothing screams summer more than adventures in the ocean!

I have always had a soft spot for mer-people, and it really tackles some powerful emotions in a romance. There is such magic and adventure that is packed within these stories. It also tends to tackle more forbidden love elements to it. I have always loved a good mermay love story and seeing how they find their way towards a happy ending. And….It always comes with some sort of sacrifice.

  • So what makes a mermaid/merman romance truly tick and where did my love for this originate from? I will be honest in that my love for this came from “The Little Mermaid,” and it’s that animated film that truly fed my love for mermaids, and having them in a romance is a personal catnip of mine. Seeing more stories that truly recognize the power and depths of the ocean and how it brings two souls together is pure magic.
